WIRE FRAUD
18 U.S.C. § 1343
Mr. Feldman has experience defending individuals charged with or under investigation for violations of the wire fraud statute.
Generally, wire fraud involves the use of phone, email, text messages, internet, fax, or other form of electronic communication to commit a scheme to defraud someone of money or property. To prove wire fraud, the government must demonstrate that the person intended to defraud someone. To act with “intent to defraud” means to do something with the specific intent to deceive or cheat someone, usually for personal financial gain or to cause financial loss to someone else.
Contac the Feldman Firm if you have been accused of wire fraud or participating in a conspiracy to violate the wire fraud statute (e.g. a violation of 18 U.S.C. Sections 371, or 1349),or if you have any reason to believe that you may be a target of a wire fraud investigation or may be implicated in such an investigation.
